Located by the sea, at the entrance to the Parc du Vent, the Mer & Rencontres sand yachting school offers sessions and courses for all levels to adults and children aged 12 and over for beginners and 8 and over for courses.
This ultimate board sport is easy to learn and allows everyone to quickly progress on the large sandy beaches in complete autonomy. It's nothing but fun!
How the introductory sessions work:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Times vary depending on the tides
- Welcome at the sailing centre
- Distribution of equipment (sand yacht, helmet, sail)
- Introduction (starting, stopping, safety rules, etc.)
- Further training and/or excursion
- Rinsing and storing equipment
5-day courses: for ages 8 and up during school holidays
Cancellations possible due to bad weather.
Appropriate clothing for the season: warm clothes, closed shoes (mandatory), raincoat/K-way, gloves, sun cream, sunglasses
