Return of the Little Ships

The Association of Dunkirk Little Ships announces the return of about 60 boats from 22nd to 26th May 2025 to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Operation Dynamo.

The town is considering the organisation of a parade on Sunday 25th May, with marching bands and period vehicles, but this is not confirmed yet.

We will also commemorate the 8th anniversary of the Liberation of Dunkerque on 9th May 1945. Dunkerque was one of the very last towns to be liberated in France.

This page will be updated regularly in the coming months.

Exhibition in Bray-dunes

Two local associations, which have spent thousands of hours in researching photos and information about World War II in the Dunkerque area, will organize a free exhibition focusing on the occupation and the liberation, from 3 to 11 May 2025.
