Yacht Club de la mer du Nord

The Yacht Club de la Mer du Nord, a flagship institution in Dunkirk since 1958, is much more than just a sailing club: it is a friendly place where passion, sharing and maritime experiences come to life. An ally of the Yacht Club de France and affiliated with the French Sailing Federation, the YCMN brings together sailing enthusiasts, yachtsmen and navigation enthusiasts in a warm and dynamic atmosphere.

Located in the heart of the Le Vieux Cormoran marina, on the Quai des Monitors, the YCMN benefits from excellent shelter and easy access by sea. Visiting boats are welcome to stay overnight, an ideal opportunity to stop off, rest at the quayside and take advantage of the immediate proximity of the town centre to discover Dunkirk, its restaurants, its heritage and its entertainment.

The club offers a rich and lively social life: regattas, cruises, sailing trips, meetings and events, to sail together and share memorable moments throughout the year.

At the quayside, the Yacht restaurant welcomes you in a friendly atmosphere, with a breathtaking view of the harbour — the perfect place to extend your stopover after a day at sea.
