Located on the port of Gravelines, halfway between Dunkirk and Calais, on the Opal Coast, at the foot of the Vauban fortifications, the Espace Tourville craft village invites you to discover the Jean Bart shipyard.
Much more than a boat, this maritime cathedral, emblematic of Louis XIV's great navy and armed with 84 cannons, is being built thanks to the expertise of shipwrights and blacksmiths who are working, before your very eyes, to restore this historical heritage, unique in France.

On site, in the artisan smokehouse, visitors can discover the art of smoking fish with chips from the Jean Bart's oak to obtain a very special flavour.
