Qualité Tourisme
This national certification recognizes tourism businesses that provide high quality services. Their services are subjected to regular checks conducted by an independent body and those businesses awarded the "Qualité Tourisme" brand are committed to providing the following services: a warm and personalized welcome, accurate and unambiguous information, competent staff that listen to customers, clean and comfortable areas, a good knowledge of the region, local tourist information that is suited to customer needs.
NF Service
The Dunkerque - Dunes de Flandre Tourist Information Office has been certified by the NF Service Brand for its "Tourist Information Office Welcome and Information services" since July 2001.
This certification demonstrates compliance with the NF X 50-730 standard and the NF 237 certification rules. The NF brand is a collective certification brand. It guarantees the quality and safety of the certified products and services.
Gîtes de France
The Gîtes de France (French self-catering accommodation) brand is the leading European network for homestay accommodation that endeavours to promote tourism in this area by ensuring the highest standards of welcome and comfort, satisfying tourists' expectations and requirements in terms of authenticity, friendly attitude, a natural and peaceful environment, local exploration and space, contributing to the promotion and preservation of rural areas, participating in rural development and supporting the local population with additional resources.
Clévacances
Clévacances France is a national certification approved by the French Ministry of Tourism that guarantees the standard of comfort and safety provided by the certified accommodation whatever the location. The certified rental accommodations or rooms are assessed according to 3 essential criteria: the environment, the interior installations, the welcome and the assistance.
Logis de France
As part of the leading voluntary chain of independent hotel businesses in Europe, each establishment is different but shares a similar attitude and values: a personalized welcome, a high standard of accommodation on offer, regional food served in a friendly atmosphere, an emphasis on exploring the local area.
Tourism & Handicap
For the disabled tourist, the "Tourisme et Handicap" certification is a pledge to implement practical measures as well as guarantee an effective, well-adapted welcome. The logo, displayed at the entrance of tourist sites, establishments and facilities and on all documents informs the disabled person about their accessibility in a reliable, standardized and objective way depending on the disability in question (mobility, vision, hearing and intellectual) using four symbols.
The Most Beautiful Detours in France
Gravelines joined the 100 "Most Beautiful Detours in France" network in 2009. By joining the association, the town receives a mention in the 180,000 copies of the tourist guide for the 100 Most Beautiful Detours in France every year, modern advertising resources and the backing of important partners like La Poste, the SNCF (French railways) and Michelin.
France Station Nautique
The "France station nautique" (France watersports clubs) certification is granted by the "France station nautiques" (FSN) association to tourist resorts that have been assessed and that have local bodies organizing events and developing watersports for sports and tourism purposes.
Point Plage
This service is offered on beaches by meeting customers directly on site. The only objective is to give them an idea, teach them rapidly using a personalized programme and give them the opportunity to practise watersports in a liberating, friendly, safe and qualified environment. The French Sailing Federation Point Plage (Beach Station), certified by the the French Sailing Federation, takes part in ensuring the safety of watersports enthusiasts, providing them with information as well as the general public on land and respecting the environment.
Ecole française de voile
This certification, approved by the Ministry of Sports, is issued and controlled by the French Sailing Federation working together with the regional authorities to respond to 3 major concerns: progress, safety, enjoyment. The EFV network is committed to working within the AFNOR AC X 50-839 agreement which guarantees the standard of the welcome and organization of events.
