Dunkirk 2013, Regional Capital of Culture!
From 6 April to 28 December, Dunkirk will be the Regional Capital of Culture! Dunkirk 2013 is no mere artistic and cultural event; it is a celebration providing insight into what makes the city’s heart beat, bridging cultural divides.
Three seasons, designed as stopovers on a sea voyage, comprising 600 events and 5,000 artists, invite you to come along and experience the thrill of discovery, so conducive to sharing. There will be parades, fanfares, concerts, exhibitions and the inauguration of various new cultural facilities, alongside many other surprises.
